New Patients

Dr Rahul Sinha loves the daily interaction with his patients and the dynamic nature of working as a GP. He believes this helps to keep him on his toes, focusing his mind so he can do the best for every individual.

Dr Sinha chose to become a General Practitioner as he believes it is the very basis of primary care and the foundation supporting all other medical disciplines. The general practice and family physician has a crucial role in building and supporting a robust and responsive health system.

Dr Sinha graduated from Stanley Medical College in Chennai, India, with a Bachelor of Medicine in 1996 and then pursued surgical training from 1998-2001 in new Delhi. In 2002 he moved to the UK, where he practised in Scotland and England for 10 years. In 2012, he moved to Australia and began working at Rye Family Clinic. He is a GP Principal and is involved in the day-to-day operations and administration of the practice. He is also a GP Supervisor and educator, with the responsibility of training and supervising a GP Registrar.When he’s not working, you will find Dr Sinha spending time with his family, especially his twin boys. He would love to go stargazing and camping in the bush with the family, work and other commitments permitting.

Dr Pragya Noopur has a holistic approach to patient care and thoroughly enjoys her daily interactions with patients. She decided to pursue General Practice as she enjoys the person-to-person interaction.

She is passionate about all aspects of her patients’ physical and mental wellbeing. Dr Noopur gets genuine satisfaction out of having a positive impact on their health. She believes her patients are her greatest teachers, as there is something new to learn from them every day.

Dr Noopur graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital , Aligarh , India 2001. She moved to the UK in 2004 and trained as a GP in Glasgow, attaining her Membership of the Royal College of GPs in 2009, working as a GP from 2009 to 2012 before moving to Australia.

Outside of work, you will find Dr Noopur devoting her time to her family, including her twin boys. She also enjoys embarking on adventures, especially travelling around Australia.

Dr Chinthaka Wijekulasooriya is passionate about being able to make his patients feel better in both their mental and physical health. He has been a GP for 15 years and also an anaesthetist for seven years. Today, he offers general medical consultations and conducts minor procedures.

Outside of the practice, you will find Dr Wijekulasooriya travelling, tending to his garden or relaxing whilst watching a movie.

Dr Kate Tran-Nguyen graduated from Sheffield Medical School, UK in 2011. She worked in rural Queensland before returning to the UK to complete her postgraduate GP training in Oxford.

Dr Tran-Nguyen enjoys the varied nature of general practice and has a special interest in all aspects of women’s health and lifestyle medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Tran-Nguyen enjoys spending time with her young family, exploring the Peninsula and keeping fit with yoga and running. Her latest interest is stand up paddle boarding along the beautiful beaches of the Peninsula.

Dr Hamed Massoudi is a dedicated and compassionate general practitioner with a wide range of medical expertise. With a keen interest in men’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, skin care  and aesthetics. Dr Massoudi is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to his patients. He graduated from Tehran University of Medical Science in Iran in 2013 and has since accumulated 10 years of experience in general practice.

Dr Massoudi recently moved to Australia with his family and enjoys exploring the country’s natural beauty with his loved ones. Patients appreciate his warm and personable approach to care, as well as his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements. Dr. Massoudi is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal health and wellness, both inside and out.

Dr Harijs Pavasaris enjoys the variety that being a GP brings, including conducting minor surgery and joint injections. He pursued this line of work as he saw that as a GP, his preventative care and early diagnosis could often prevent the need for invasive surgery at a later stage.He has worked for many years as a GP, including at a busy skin clinic. Dr Pavasaris has assisted in surgery, including bariatric surgery.Outside of the clinic, he will likely be found exploring a new cycling track.

After an enriching first career as a school teacher for 10 years, I found myself at a crossroads, often referred to as a mid-life transition. This experience sparked my curiosity and led me to pursue a new path in psychology. Now, with over 30 years of experience as a Counselling Psychologist, I have not only practiced privately but also shared my knowledge through lecturing in this field.

Janine joins our clinic with experience working amongst the aged community. She appreciates the diverse needs of our aging population and has an empathetic and supportive nature. Janine provides administrative support to our patients and clinical team in a friendly manner. Janine enjoys the great outdoors, walking, cycling and painting.
